Mahindra has introduced the Mahindra Thar ROXX Edition as a limited-run variant of its legendary off-road SUV. This new edition brings cosmetic enhancements and exclusive features aimed at enthusiasts who want an even more rugged and attention-grabbing version of the Thar. It continues to be based on the LX variant and is available in both petrol and diesel options.
Distinctive Design with Factory-Fitted Modifications
The Thar ROXX Edition stands out with its fiery Blaze Red and Stealth Black dual-tone paint finish, body-colored fender extensions, gloss black grille, red tow hooks, and aggressive steel bumpers. It also gets ROXX badging, bonnet decals, and all-terrain tires with blacked-out alloy wheels. These enhancements give it a factory-custom off-roader vibe without compromising on road legality or warranty.
Powertrain Options Remain Unchanged
Under the hood, the Thar ROXX continues to offer the same 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol engine producing 150 bhp and the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine with 130 bhp. Both engines are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmissions. The SUV retains its 4×4 capability with shift-on-fly transfer case, mechanical locking rear differential, and brake locking front differential for superior traction.

While the mechanicals remain untouched, the ROXX Edition enhances approach and departure angles visually with its modified bumpers and increased wheel arch coverage. Inside, the Thar ROXX Edition maintains its rugged theme with black and red seat covers, contrast stitching, and ROXX-branded dashboard inserts. Safety and Convenience Features
Standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP with rollover mitigation, hill hold and hill descent control, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX mounts. The Thar ROXX also includes TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and an integrated adventure information display.
